About

I design the website, and I build it. There is no one else in the middle.

Luado Digital is a one-person studio working with established South African service businesses. That is a deliberate choice, not a stage I am trying to grow out of.

  • 100+ websites personally designed
  • Direct founder delivery
  • Built for service businesses

Where the experience comes from

Before founding Luado Digital, I managed and delivered website projects inside an established South African web-design business. I have personally designed more than 100 websites across service businesses, ecommerce and other industries.

That role meant more than drawing layouts. I ran projects end to end: scoping them, collecting content out of busy business owners, designing the pages, building them, handling review rounds and getting them launched. Doing that at volume teaches you which decisions matter and which ones only feel like they do.

I want to be precise about what that experience is and is not. It is my own track record of design and delivery work. It is not that company’s reputation, its client list, its reviews or its team. None of that transfers to Luado Digital, and I am not going to borrow it. Where I show a website I designed during that period, it is labelled as work completed before Luado Digital existed.

Experience is portable. Reputation is not. The work below my name is mine; the agency’s standing stays with the agency.

Why I started Luado Digital

Two things kept repeating. The first was that the businesses getting the most out of a website were rarely the ones spending the most. They were the ones whose site actually explained the service and made contact easy. The second was that the further a client sat from the person doing the work, the more got lost.

So Luado Digital is built around removing that distance. You brief me, I design it, I build it, and I am the one who answers when something needs sorting out. Fewer people involved means fewer misunderstandings and a shorter route from a decision to it being implemented.

How I work

A small number of projects, properly run.

Clear scope before anything is designed

Every project starts with a written scope and a fixed price. Vague briefs produce vague websites and awkward invoices, and I would rather spend the extra hour upfront.

Controlled execution, not endless iteration

Two consolidated review rounds. That is enough to get a site right when the direction was agreed properly, and it protects the timeline for everyone in the queue.

Limited active capacity

I run a small number of projects at once. It is why timelines hold, and why you are not waiting three days for a reply.

Straight answers about what I do not do

I do not run advertising campaigns, produce full brand identities or shoot photography. When a project needs those, I say so early rather than doing a mediocre version of it.

The businesses I work best with

Established service businesses that are already trading, doing good work, and quietly frustrated that the website does not show it. Usually the owner is directly involved, wants the thing done properly once, and has enough material to build something honest with: photographs, client feedback and real service detail.

  • Trading businesses with real customers and real work to show
  • Owners who are involved in the decision and can give clear feedback
  • Services that need explaining rather than just listing
  • Businesses that want to look as established online as they are offline
