01 Who is responsible for your information

Luado Digital is a sole-proprietor web design studio operated by Luado Steyn in South Africa. Luado Digital is the responsible party for personal information collected through this website, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

For any question about your information, including a request to access or delete it, email hello@luado.co.za.

02 What this website collects

Information you submit through the application form: your full name, business name, email address, WhatsApp number, website or social link, the service your business provides, your current website situation, the main problem you are trying to solve, whether the business is operating, whether you are the decision-maker, your intended start date, your confirmation of the starting investment, and any optional notes you add.

Information collected automatically if analytics is enabled: aggregated usage data such as pages visited, approximate location at city or region level, device type and referring source. This is used to understand how the website is used and is not linked to your application.

This website does not collect passwords, PINs, one-time pins, card or banking details, or login credentials for any of your accounts. Never send those to Luado Digital by any channel. They are not needed at any stage of a project.

03 Why it is collected

To assess whether your business and project are a fit for the service.

To contact you about your application, arrange a strategy call and send a written scope and quote.

To keep an accurate record of enquiries and quotations for normal business and accounting purposes.

To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used so it can be improved.

04 Consent

You give consent by ticking the consent box and submitting the application form. Consent is voluntary and you may withdraw it at any time by emailing hello@luado.co.za, after which your information is deleted unless it must be retained for legal or accounting reasons.

05 Who your information is shared with

Your information is not sold, rented or traded, and it is not shared for anyone else’s marketing.

It is processed by the service providers needed to operate the website and communicate with you: the form-delivery provider that transmits the application, the email provider that receives it, and the website host. Each processes the information only to provide that service.

Information you enter into the application form is never sent to Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel or any other analytics platform. Analytics records only that a form was started or submitted, never its contents.

06 Analytics and advertising tools

Where enabled, this website may use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage, and a Meta Pixel to measure the performance of advertising. These tools set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.

You can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings, and browsers with tracking protection will block them automatically. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use this website or to submit an application.

07 How long information is kept

Applications that do not proceed are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.

Records relating to clients and quoted projects are kept for as long as required for business and statutory accounting purposes, and then deleted.

08 Security

The website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to enquiry records is limited to Luado Digital.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and this is not presented as a guarantee against every possible risk.

09 Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask what personal information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent.

Email hello@luado.co.za and the request will be actioned. If you are not satisfied with how a request is handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

If this information changes, the updated version is published on this page with a revised date. Material changes affecting how your information is used will be communicated directly where a current relationship exists.
